Renova's Promise to the Solar Generation
Living in a community where its civic and political leaders are leading the charge in transforming the region into an example of energy conservation and green technology must have our children wondering... "What is all the fuss about?" Renova Energy is here to help you answer the tough questions for our children as well as for those adults who are feeling a little left out of the growing green circle. Locally, we offer the broadest array of products and services to reduce energy consumption and believe that we should extend those products to the Solar Generation being raised now.
Solar 101
Solar power is when the sun shines down on special panels on a roof which capture the energy found in the sun's light. As the sunlight hits the cells on the panels, the energy "slices" off ions. This creates a magnetic field which is a basic form of energy. The energy is then captured in small metal wires, which form an electric current. These wires are connected to a special machine called an inverter which converts the energy into a usable power source that we can use just like any other electricity. That's it...solar electric power!

In the next 20 years, solar will be a daily part of our lives. Why not introduce the next generation...the Solar Generation...to this intelligent, clean, renewable way of powering their lives right now! Start with the toys and games that they interact with. Since Renova has done the searching and has come up with no local sources of solar powered fun for children we decided to create a list of links to take you to where solar imaginations can run wild.
